Shirley has over 3000 hours of training at the Langara College RMT program. During that time, she had the chance to work with various patient populations such as; dancers, opera performers, climbers, sports runners, seniors with different chronic conditions. Shirley also has a few years experiences  as a shiatsu practitioner.

She has worked on clients with common musculoskeletal problems, especially stiff neck and shoulders, lower back caused by posture syndrome.  During treatment Shirley likes to combine different techniques, to customize the treatment to that clients individual’s needsand educate the patient with home care tips,  so they can successfully achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Shirley enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, playing tennis, cooking and reading as well as listening to relaxing music.
